using drupal since yesterday.
fact: installed forum, can reach it like this "...?q=forum"
problem: doesn't appear in the navigation.
question: how to make it appear?
I need to get rid of all of the error lines there, but don't have a clue how. Any clue as to how to go about fixing it would be much appreciated.
One other problem: When I login, I just get more lines of text and the main Drupal block disappears altogether, but I'm logged in when I revisit the home page. The same happens when loggin out, except, when I re-visit the home page, I'm logged out.
Hello Drupallers,
I just found this really cool web-app someone was using.
So I downloaded it and tried to set it up with no success.
I have set-up similar web-apps but I just can't figure this one out.
I was just wondering if anyone here has set this up locally on a mac?
If so I would really appreciate a little guidance.
I have created a database for it and I believe drupal connects to it,
but when I type in the address all I see is a blank window
Thanks in advance for any help.

I'm re-posting this here in the Installation Problems forum after it got no responses in the General forum. I know cross-posting is frowned upon, but my points are valid. And I think if they were answered/acted upon there might be more people that switch to drupal from easier tools.
After upgrading to cvs from 4.4, I notice that where there were previously sub-items in the Administer -> Modules navigation menu, there are no longer sub-items appearing (in other words there is a little square next to 'modules' instead of the little collapsed triangle). At first I thought maybe these setting had been moved to tabs, but no tabs appear either. Did I screw up my installation or is the configuration of individual modules available elsewhere?
