Bloggerapi problems

I have drupal 4.5 running, but can't get a blog client to connect and work. I'm using Firefox 1rc and the JustBlogIt entension. I point it at my site and get the following error back when I try to post.
The requested URL /drupal/node/add/story was not found on this server.

I'm using the Drupal as the weblog type and the default node type (story) and also type (blog) same results.
I don't see any setting for the bloggerapi other than on/off in the modules section of configure. Are there are setting s that I can / need to make. If so where?

Can't get it working...

The install instructions make it sounds so easy! So I thought I would try it but I have no PHP or MySQL experience so what do I expect.

Anyways, I have made some progress but still getting stuck. I have successfully got Apache, php and MySQL installed on my OS X machine and am trying to host a Drupal site off of my machine for testing before I put it on my web server. I am using phpMyAdmin and have that successfully going (http://70.68.166.65/phpMyAdmin/) - as it states here, MySQL is running...

Dumb request: Basics about home pages etc.

Hi folks

Still finding my way around here so forgive (and correct) me if I haven't yet found the forum for dumb-ass newbies asking the most basic of questions.

Hopefully I won't need too much as I'm finding Drupal excellent, but one area I'm struggling with is basic page editing and site structure. For example I'd like my home page to just be a static web page that I can edit, but at the moment it lists all blogs and other posts. And how can I organise the main site menu structure to then position these around?

install drupal fail..(everything is ok,when create database.)

I just put all the files to my host. when i brower my address: http://www.guirong.net I got following error message.
any one can give some help?

Expanding user profiles

Hi folks

Non-technical person new to Drupal and enjoying it a lot, especially the ability for non-technical people to customise the site. However this ability doesn't seem universal across all of the functions so I'm wondering the best way to plug these gaps.

For example, I'd like to use my Drupal within the context of social networking (of course) and thus the user profile section is key to this. I'd like users to have a simple ability to create and maintain their profile, ie photos, work stuff, personal stuff etc.

Problems getting Drupal up and running on Mac OS X Server 10.3.5

Hi all:

This is one of my first attempts to get a CMS system installed on Mac OS X Server, (I'm fairly new to this level of administration too).

I believe I had installed the latest release of Drupal correctly, but when I go to the main page I get the error:
