install pathname issue (4.5.2)

The install instructions for 4.5.2 suggest dropping the install as

(websiteroot)/drupal-4.5.2

However, that means that the access URL is http://mysite/drupal-4.5.2

To make a fully-drupal site, is the recommendation to unpack right in the root, or is there some well-understood scheme for moving index.php up a level and still having it work?

Importing mysql database problem

Hello,

I have been working with my drupal site on my local machine. Now I want to make the install on my server, but I´m having problems with the phpmyadmin.

I´m on a virtual host account, an when I try to import the sql file, the server told me that the phpmyadmin exceeded the máximun memory allowed for a php script. Is there any other form of importing it?

Thanks a lot, Simon.
