Installing Drupal

After spending countless hours installing and fixing drupal 4.6.0 from cvs, I finally have an installation that works. Only one bug with Internationalization. So to help others, here is my installation and procedures. The modules that are installed and a detailed step by step procedure is in the /docs folder.

Okay - the site is xoops until I can get it changed over.

My ISP won't provied me more than 8M memory limit!

Is there any way to keep Drupal runing without removing modules?

I'm a total newbie and just finished installing drupal on my site by following the handbook instructions. I'm getting the following errors when I try to access my drupal site:

unable to select database

i'm new user for php, i just installed the latest version of Drupal, include Album, when i try to upload a image file, it displayed like :Fatal error: Call to undefined function image_validate() in E:\drupal\modules\album.module on line 70

how can i do? i need help, thanks...

I am using Drupal 4.6 but some time when I try to configure some informations or to creat a content, the following error appear.

Access denied for user: 'tutxvnu@212.27.40.200' to database 'tutxvnu' query: LOCK TABLES sequences WRITE in /var/www/free.fr/f/7/tutxvnu/en/includes/database.mysql.inc on line 66.

I cannot understand why. Could you tell me what is this error and how to avoid?
