After installation got such error:

I want to build a database of electronic magazines on line with a searchble capability.
Wile I tried to download the program - the computer didnt read it and I couldnot install the program.
I download a software wich reads a TAR formats but it didnt help me.
how do I download a readble program so I can see a TAR.ZG formats?

I d like to run a hosting service -> thus I need to deactivate for example the "locale" module. You can, but
if you take it out the upsetted language goes to default english. Thus Id like to take it out hardcoded.

Hi,

I installed TinyMCE and Imgage Assist on my Drupal site. Image upload is working fine. I open the Image Assist Window from the TinyMCE-Toolbar. I choose an image. When I click on "Insert image" I get the following error message (translated from german) in the Internet Explorer:

Error: 'tinyMCE' is not defined

Any ideas?

I am having problems registering my first account. Every time I select to "create my first account" it just loads my baseurl index page. The domain string ends "/?q=user/register" but nothing happens.

I did notice that the .htacess file would not FTP. I coinfirmed that my ISP does not allow custom htacess files. Is this the problem? Do I need this file?

I also noticed that the logo image is broken on the first login page even though the image is on the site.

Any ideas as to what is going wrong and if I can fix it?

As background:

After installation and database setup, my website cancercast.com just has the default page (just a directory showing "parent directory" and "cgi-bin") returning even after I did all the things below. This is no change from just prior to installation of Drupal.
