SubmissionID as a counter for submissions for each form

I saw that on the form the SubmissionID is not used as a counter. or is not usable as a counter.

it shows all the submissions that are made for all forms that are submitted

for the administrator it would be better that there would be like a counter that show's how many submissions are made on every specific form.

I am not sure about creating a submission counter
what do mean by that. extra field for every submission.
