Media module recent commits forces z-index .ui-front

Hey I am probably missing something but I can't seem to reproduce this on a default install of 1.x-dev.

What series of steps can show this issue?

Hmm, here's a list of wetkit features that were reverted during /after upgrade to 1.8 for the environment pts is referring to:

if you want a test environment with the exact env setup, we have 10 hosts setup for dev/qa copies of the environment

I was able to reproduce I misinterpreted the issue to be media zindex conflicting with ctools modal. But can reproduce now as the media browser itself has a bad z-index on node/edit screen.

I reverted the media commit that ptsimard outlined.
