I'm an infrequent poster but do occasionally have problems that require experienced help (I just posted one). I'm hoping to bypass the waiting process to be a confirmed user so that I'm able to tap into that help and get our website up to speed sooner.

May I suggest you visit "Become a 'confirmed' user" page for information about how a user account is confirmed. Right now your accounts do not have sufficient activity on Drupal.org, hence awarding this role is a bit of a challenge. Please keep contributing content in Drupal.org then this issue will be revisited (or) you will get the role automatically. In case if there is a need for revisiting the issue, I suggest you reopen this issue with a necessary comment rather than opening a new issue.

Alternatively you can work with any of your local community members to get your account confirmed.
