hello all. so i have hit the issue of the WSOD 'white screen of death' i have tried several solutions without any effect, i was able to pull this error code out of the blank screen. I then reverted the index.php back to its original form, mainly because it did not solve my issue. if anybody has any insight on how to fix the problem it would be very helpful. Thank you.

Mainly because what didn't solve your issue? What code are you talking about? if you are referring to the error reporting snippet then that isn't meant to solve any issue beyond helping to obtain an error that will aid in researching the cause.

Your question belongs in the drupal.org forums not in the webmasters issue queue. As such follow up should come via a post placed in the drupal.org support forums. Thank you.

I can see that you tried to move the thread. Issues cannot be moved to the forums and the forum.module issue queue isn't the right place for this issue. You need to go to the following link: support forums and navigate to the 'post installation' forum. The ask your question. Also of note, please mention the exact versions of Drupal core and the modules throwing the error. In this case context and ctools.
