Hi
I posted an issue 5 days ago, and I am still stuck.
From my mac, any time I try to connect to drupal.org, I get the "Drupal.org is down for maintainance..."
I have dumped all the cache/cookies/histories.
I have gotten a new IP
I have installed new browser (Opera) and nothing works.

I can connect via a proxy server, but I can NOT connect via my mac.

Please advise.

check /etc/hosts for hardcoded IPs.

Thank you SO much!
I found the file, changed the permissions on the folder, deleted a hard coded ip for d.org, restarted, and I'm back in business!
