There are already several newsletter modules. Can you clarify how this one is going to be different?

I'm also wondering the same. How does this module differ from something more well established such as simplenews?

This looks like a dead project - can someone remove it?

Title: clarify difference from other newsletters » Newsletter module appears abandoned

Ok. Making this the "abandoned project" issue. If there is no response then 2 weeks from today we can update the project page to state it is abandoned point at other newsletters.

@ifranzone: this is the issue queue of 'Newsletter' module, not Simplenews. Changing the direction and title of an issue is called hijacking and is not good practice. Create an issue in the Simplenews issue queue for your question (but before creating, make sure you search the issue queue first for similar requests).

Boatman, please move the Newsletter project to the Drupal module heaven.
No data was ever created in CVS, no issues (except this one), just a placeholder created on November 17, 2007.
