For some reason when I go in to edit the components of my webform, I can edit one component (by clicking on the Edit link in the component list) but thereafter selecting any component's edit link just redirects me back to the node's webform page (i.e. node/999/webform). If I log out and log back in I can edit one and only one component.
Any idea what's going on?

quicksketchI can't confirm this behavior, and I've never heard of something like this happening before. It's probably a module conflict of some kind, but considering we haven't had any confirming reports, I'm going to move this to a support request.
The most obvious thing to check is to make sure that the URLs for editing a component is correct. Compare the "working" URL before you edit any components with the URL after you've edited a component and see if there's a difference. Also give turning off JavaScript temporarily a try and see if that helps, which would point to it being a JS problem rather than PHP. Lastly, do you have any modules that modify Webform's normal behavior installed (Arrange Fields, Display Suite, Webform Validation, etc.) that would likely be modifying the behavior of this form? Try disabling them and see if it helps.

h2cm commentedI have a webform and I've been fishing around trying to find where to edit it. I need to add a comments field (and style it into two columns). Part of the problem for me is - I pick Drupal up - put it down....
When I went to Content -> click the edit 'DJ enquiry' page I had created and webform tab the fields I'd created were not accessible. Checking I noted I'd altered the permissions for webform to include authorised users too but may not be crucial here. Anyway the site I'm creating does not need a login. So I've restored that to just the admin. I'm using Mollom and trying to get facebook connect to behave. Webform is up to date.
As per advice above I switched off webform validation and tab tamer modules. I don't want the View(active tab) - Edit - Webform - Results to display to the users.
Anyway - I've just recovered it again. Facebook is also partly displaying again too (like button and a few user images - from FB).
Hope you get sorted.

quicksketchThere was a similar report at #1707860: Edit link for Form Components only works once per log in. I've marked that one duplicate of this one.
I still haven't ever seen this problem personally. We haven't had any recent reports of it. My guess is still some kind of module conflict.
