Is there anyway to change the inline width style being applied to all the wrapper tags, without hacking the module? The width being set at 600px breaks my theme.
What's the reasoning for making the width inline instead of in the style sheet?

redndahead commentedThat's put on by jquery cycle plugin. It is set to the largest width of your slides. So if you would like it smaller more than likely the culprit is your images are too large.

stuen93 commentedI am running into a somewhat similiar issue. I want to setup a slidehow that shows the 3 most recent stories under a certain taxonomy term. I have the slideshow created but the div that i have it inside of on my frontpage is a floated div with a fuild width so it can adjust depending on the size of the browser window.
The problem is that I have not found a way to make the slideshow have a dynamic width. Is this possible with CSS or do I have to modify the module to make this work?
I'd appreciate any pointers or suggestions.

medieval111 commentedThis worked for me:
div#views_slideshow_singleframe_teaser_section_1
{
width: auto !important;
}

sdsheridanGlad I found this, as this did kind-of solve a problem for me. I'm using views slideshow for not only an image slideshow on my site, but also a text one (recent posts titles). I wanted the whole block floated right in a header area, and then each div within that block floated left (all done via my theme's CSS), so I have everything laid out in a nice horizontal bar. As soon as I did this, the width of the title field went from the maximum of all the titles to 70px. The height was also adjusted, so it was not laid out properly at all. This fixed it, but introduces an issue in that before, I was hoping for a dynamic width based on the longest title. Now I've got a fixed width that may result in wrapping or overflow issues. Any ideas on solving this?
Thanks for any help in advance.
Shawn

redndahead commentedCan you open a new issue please as this one has been closed for a while. Also if you can please post a test site that will make it a lot easier to debug.
