Had this working as an Ubercart Products display block in randomization paging
It just stopped on its own and the view was not changed
jquery.cycle is set up as at https://www.drupal.org/docs/7/modules/views-slideshow/installation-requi... using the manual method
I am using JQuery 1.9
I have AdvAgg enabled but it only reports
changed 2 times - sites/all/libraries/jquery.cycle/jquery.cycle.all.js
changed 1 time - sites/all/libraries/json2/json2.js
and does not seem to "see"
sites/all/libraries named jquery.easing
sites/all/libraries named jquery.hoverIntent
sites/all/libraries named jquery.pause
they all have 755 permissions
I tried several changes to the config - and flushed the cache each time but nothing brought back the paging.
I even disabled and re-enabled the Slideshow module
The pager controls are gone from the top of the display
The pager in the Professional Theme also stopped paging but when I upgraded the JQuery Update to 3.1 for the site and enabled the JQuery Migrate feature it started working but not the lower pager - and the Pager Display ID's are different
If I enable the DDBlock version of the pager - the controls return but noting else does - the fields do not show then - and it still does not cycle
My view setup in attached as a jpg - and it did work for three years like this where a hover stopped the pager - and forward and back worked
I do not have a clue . . . has this been seen before ??

After a drush update of Drupal core to 7.63 is when it stopped working
I set the Jquery Update at 3.1 and the TOP pager started working which is incorporated in the Devsaran "Professional Theme"
A hint at https://www.drupal.org/forum/support/module-development-and-code-questio... I rolled back to JQuery 1.8 - and on Drupal core 7.63 it STILL did not work
It also would not display as a preview in editing the view before any save of the view changes
I set it back to JQuery 3.1
Then on February 6, 2019, and another Drupal core came down and was installed by Drush via my cron job up to Core 7.64
I also manually inserted a jquery.pause into the sites/all/libraries named jquery.pause and saved BOTH the jQuery.pause JavaScript files (jquery.pause.js and jquery.pause.min.js ) there to make sure the JQuery setup was as stated at https://www.drupal.org/docs/7/modules/views-slideshow/installation-requi...
It show be noted the slideshow previous worked for 5 years without this setup above
After the second Drupal core update to 7.64, and having seen this issue before - as I recall - I set it back to JQuery 1.8 again, and low and behold the second slideshow pager - which is a random products filter under Ubercart as a slideshow using views slideshow in a block - just started working as in cycling again this time showing the "previous pause / resume next" now again as controls at the bottom.
And now it shows as a preview when editing the view again . . . so go figure
