nickdickinsonwildehmmm without more details I can't say exactly what the problem is. However I'm pretty confident that Views Slideshow is not responsible. That doesn't mean, that views slideshow isn't doing something that is meaning you get the error, but as it does no direct changes to the sql, it isn't in itself responsible if that makes sense.
With more data I could try to debug but currently, not very well; if you're still stuck with it, please give me the version of Views Search and the configuration of the view that is giving the error.
Regards

aporieHi NickWild,
I'm getting this error with all my views which have "search terms" widget exposed.
When I disable views slideshow everything works again, so I was thinking the problem should probably comes from the module.
For exemple, here a view configuration (with views 7.x-3.16)

nickdickinsonwildeHmm that is very odd and I'll definitely try to debug it. What version of views and Drupal are you using?
Thanks for the report and further details.
Nick

aporieSo, drupal 7.54 and views 7.x-3.16.
I think trying to reproduce the error on a fresh install should be a great start. The way I found the problem comes from view slideshow is that I put a backup on my dev server and firgured which modules wasn't still install compared to the prod server, because it used to work.
Then I figured that views slideshow wasn't installed and when I installed it, search term widget from views stop working ...
Thanks for your help, drupal rocks !

nickdickinsonwildehmmph. Well I've messed around a bit and haven't been able to replicate it so far unfortunately.
From the views config, I'm guessing that the site likely has privacy issues to consider so you probably can't send me a copy of the db for further testing? Do you have a base testing setup that you could send me that doesn't have private data?
If not, what other modules do you have active?
Thanks;
Nick

aporieI'm Sooooo sorry.
I know what was the problem and thinking it was views slideshow was just a coincidence.
When I activated views slideshow it makes drupal reach the php var limit.
So to solve the problem I had to put in my php.ini :
max_input_vars = 10000Sorry for disturbance ... and thanks a lot for your work.
