Hey!

The basic functionality of View Slideshow that I am currently using is to be able to display some Slideshow items into groups and have them rotate with their group. So if I am displaying 4 items (node) of a specific content type in a group, each rotation is consist of 4 items at a time.

The problem I have with this setting is that if there are 5 nodes that the slideshow will display, the first group looks okay but the second would only display one which leaves a large space next to it.

So I was wondering if it is possible for a grouped views slideshow to still display by group but would rotate one node result at a time leaving no space even if the next items will not be of 4 items in a group?

Hello jagadmarx, Yes this is possible for a group views slideshow to display by grouped items without leaving no space. This height will be automatically set by the views itself.

#you need to check(tick) "View Action Advanced Options " in the slideshow setting of your slideshow view and also uncheck "Make the slide window height fit the largest slide " which is by default checked(ticked).
#Apply the changes .

Possible: yes.
Easy: not with the jQuery Cycle library used in the Views_slideshow_cycle sub-module. You probably could do it in custom JavaScript but making that happen easily is not a priority at this end.
Best Solution: Using the jQuery Cycle 2 library. There are a *lot* of improvements in that including that ability. See #1801332: Support Malsup's Cycle2 Plugin for history on that and links to a sandbox module that may work - although I haven't tested it myself.
