I have a content type with an image field which allows 4 images to be attached and I am trying to use views_slideshow to cycle through these images but for the life of me, I cannot get the slideshow to transition at all. I have tried several options.

  1. Use jquery.cycle-2.99 as described in #1411214: Cycle Plugin 2.9999 Doesn't Work
  2. Disabled the view of all value in views for the image field so it only shows one image instead of 4
  3. Tried using stable version of views_slideshow

I am using -dev for both core and contrib modules and I just want to know what I am missing in views which is were I believe the problem is but I figure someone here has run into this problem before and knows of the solution.

I am using jquery.cycle version 2.9999.8, which is the latest available from the website linked to in this project's docuementation.

To create a slideshow using a multiple value image field on a node, you must do the following:
1. Under "Show", select "Fields".
2. Under "Multiple Field Settings," deselect "Display all values in the same row". This will print out all the images as separate rows.
