Hi all,

I'm a newbie on Drupal. Currently building a ecommerce website using Drupal 7 + Commerce.

I had build a slideshow here -> www.ok2u.com.my, which now contain 2 result.

I enable the "Bottom Widget->Pager", pager type = Fields = Global:View Result Counter, and there is "1" and "2" output below the slideshow. How can I output the 1 and 2 horizontally rather than vertically? I want to output it as shown in the picture I attach.

Thanks.

Depending on how that markup is, you should be able to use css to line them up.

In a quick pager I made, each one was in a div with the class "views-slideshow-pager-field-item".

So in your theme css you could create a directive like:

To affect all pager items:

div.views-slideshow-pager-field-item{
  display: inline; /* or even display: inline-block*/
}

To affect your one view:

div.view-yourviewnameid div.views-slideshow-pager-field-item{
  display: inline; /* or even display: inline-block*/
}

Where you replace "yourviewnameid" with the machine name of your view.

Hope that helps some!

Hi Jimmy,

Thanks for your help. But i'm a newbie on Drupal 7, I don't really know where to put the CSS code. Perhaps you can give me some direction?

Thank you again.

Had a similar question here http://drupal.org/node/1183420

Basically, the css code goes in your theme code.

If you are using the default theme, there should be a css file called styles.css under

drupal/themes/yourtheme/css/

If you have a custom theme it is under

drupal/sites/yoursite/themes/yourtheme/css

Firebug is essential for understanding how css works

What djv said.

I would not recommend modifying any of the theme code under /themes in your drupal root. When it comes time to upgrade your drupal core, any changes you made there would need to be documented and copied back in after update or they would be lost.

The best way to handle it is to have your theme in either /sites/default/themes/yourtheme or /sites/all/themes/yourtheme

By keeping your theme code in one of those directories, when you upgrade your core, all you have to keep track of is your sites directory. You should also be putting modules your download in /sites/all/modules or /sites/default/modules.
Personally, I like to keep all of that stuff under sites/all . It makes it easier to keep track of.

I don't think that the style.css file is automatically included by D7. It think all stylesheets need to be added via the theme's .info file or via a call to drupal_add_css in a module or template.php file. See here http://drupal.org/node/171209.

"In Drupal 7, the style.css file will not be used unless it is specified in the .info file."

Also I think this is not the place to discuss theming in general. Closing the issue.
