Hi, I'm trying to export some nodes along with their taxonomies as CSV, and it's been very difficult. The import (with the Feeds module) isn't working, because a lot of my content contains special characters, commas, etc.

It seems like this problem could be solved if I was using something like JSON as my import/export format instead of CSV. Does anyone have any thoughts on this?

Hi sorry, this issue queue is for discussing the Views Data Export module, not site architecture.

You might be better off going to Drupal Answers and asking over there, because there are likely to be more people watching for this sort of question.

Closing this because CSV actually ended up working fine for me -- there's just a lot to thing about (like when I have taxonomy terms with commas in the titles, etc.)
