Is there a reason why Video Embed Field provides an output filter for a [VIDEO::url::style] tag, when Video Filter already provides this?

(and shouldn't the tag syntax be standardized? Video Filter uses [video:url])

Mainly I'd just like to know (from this module's users) whether there's a reason I shouldn't use Video Filter for my output filter, probably in addition to using Video Embed Field's field elsewhere on the site.

Interesting - if there is another module that does that well, then I'm happy to let them handle that functionality or merge functionality. I haven't used that module myself though - so I don't know which is better / easier.

I think the best option here is to do an integration with Insert module (there is another issue for that) eventually and allow people to insert things directly into the wysiwyg.
