Will be good if databases will be stored in /data folder. After destroy, we will have backup.

I think we'll get performance issues with implementing this feature.
Maybe VDD should only dump databases to shared folders periodically... What do you think?

If use nfs, performance will be ok, but you are right, it isn't a good idea to use mounted folder for mysql by default.
As for me, will be perfect to choice options like where to store databases and enable/disable backups.

The Drush backup directory could be set to live within /data, so backups could be done manually with --sql-dump (you can also specify a --result-file location already).
