when I tried to composer update，it delete core 8.6.15 and installed 8.7 then caused many problems， I have to reinstall core 8.6.15 and make it stick on 8.6.15 in my composer file.

This is a duplicate issue of #3052268: Composer Update runs into multiple errors with patches

This issue was a task to Start an 8.x-7.x branch for [Varbase] installation profile
I have changed the name and close as duplicate

I manged to reinstall the 8.6.15 core and it works fine

And cant waiting to test 8.7 branch
