Adds UUID support to node properties which depend on other entities. This attaches and saves these properties during node deployments using the Deploy module. This module should be enabled at both ends of the deployment.

Supported so far:

  • Core Book module - obtains UUID values of book and parent nid
  • Redirect module - adds UUID values to redirects, and attaches any associated redirects to node on node deployment.

Notes:

  • The redirect module integration uses work done here https://drupal.org/node/1517348 by recidive, skwashd, jamesharv, and extends it to add UUID-propertied redirects to the node.
  • Deployments using the Auto Deployment Plans (deploy_auto_plan) submodule currently fail with redirects (books are ok), as it lines up the redirect entity separately for deployment - this module works with node deployments, and attaches any redirects as node properties. Instead, try using the Deploy Managed Aggregator UI (deploy_managed_ui) submodule, which adds checkboxes to the node edit form. You can automatically add to deployment plan on form save by adding a simple form alter to your custom module which sets those checkboxes to be checked by default:
