This module provides a Drupal 8 condition plugin that detects a current UUID in the page context. This condition is exposed on the block configuration page and is a better alternative to setting block visibility based on node ID paths.
This project may be short lived, things could go a few ways: Rules uses the conditions system and potentially we'll see Rules conditions exposed in the Block configuration, which might make this module redundant. There might be a more generic UUID tools project released for D8, which functionality might better fall into. Or maybe core will get better all-round UUID support (@see https://www.drupal.org/node/2353611 for example).
