I think that it would be helpful if the module had some of the same settings as other profile fields do. Things like
Title (instead of the default singular role)
Weight (rather than just sitting at the bottom)
Explanation (in lieu of 'Select one or more roles').

I found that many people missed the checkboxes when they were at the very bottom. I also wanted to be able to tell people what the checkboxes were for. I didn't find it too hard to doctor the copy on my own site, but I'm not sure if others may want the same settings. (If anyone's interested, I could post what I'm using, but I'm not much at PHP, so the code's messy.)

Other than that, I love the module. It does exactly what I needed.

These are all reasonable requests. Thanks for taking the time to suggest them. However this module is nearing the end of its life cycle and further development at this stage will most likely not happen. I also don't intend to port this module to D7 because there are other similar more robust modules available.
