Not sure what's causing this, but when I change and save the "requires approval" setting on an existing relationship type, the change is not reflected in the summary list or the relationship itself if I open it up again.

Hope you can sort this out, the only way to deal with this right now is to delete the existing relationship type and then recreate it with the appropriate setting. That won't be great for a live community site!

I don't see this behavior in the current -dev version. It's highly likely that this was addressed in this and/or the commits that occurred after the 5--2-8 branch:
