alexiswatson commentedFirst, many thanks for the patch! Conceptually, I'm all about this, and after a first pass review it looks pretty solid.
As for rolling against Precise, I'm thinking it may make more sense to continue supporting Lucid and branch for Precise when things are a bit more stable. See https://drupal.org/node/2271795.

stoickthevast commentedI think it's a good idea to keep Lucid and have a new branch for Precise.

alexiswatson commentedSounds good to me. I'll leave #2271795: Update Undine to use Precise instead of Lucid open for discussion for a couple days, but in the meantime, I'm thinking of wrapping up this, the first-time config issues, and releasing alpha5 before we consider branching. Ideally 1.x will be ready for beta first, to reduce any double-handling.
Have to take care of some other $stuff for the rest of today, but if there are any changes that need to be made for Lucid (PPAs, etc), mind rerolling against it? If we're good as-is, happy to review the patch in #2 in more depth tomorrow.
Thanks again!

alexiswatson commentedNow that we have a solid direction for Precise, any chance of rerolling against 1.x? Worst-case I can see about stealing a few moments this Friday to port it over.
