Steps to reproduce:

  1. add product kit into cart
  2. click on Checkout button

Expected:
product kit should be previewed as one item (with products in description area)

Actually:
On Checkout page product kit has been split. On cart page product kit is previewed as one item, and that's ok.

In Product kit version 7.x-3.1 product kit had been correctly displayed on Checkout page.

This is considered by design, so the user can see the individual parts of the kit that they have purchased. You can override the theming function for the checkout pane if you need to change this.
