A Product kit is listed on the card and in the order review as separate products even if I mark the kid as 'As a unit. Customers may only change how many kits they are buying. Do not list component products.'

This does not seem to be the correct thing to do....

When I select this option, they are listed in the cart as a single product as expected.

In orders, kits are always split into their component parts by design - this is necessary for stock control of individual parts, shipping, packing slips, etc. as the kit components need to be handled individually by each of these.
