manaya commentedSeems that the module file is missing. Not detected as a module and it can't be activated. Drupal 4.l7 is not compatible with the 4.6 release.

liquidcms commentedyes. i saw that last night as well... i went to cvs to get the full module.
still seeing a few bugs with 4.7 version though:
- cut/paste with right mouse doesn't work (Firefox): works fine in 4.6
- adding teaser break module doesn't seem to work

liquidcms commentedand, btw... in case you can't get to cvs.. here is the module from cvs from last night.

kreynen commentedThis has been this way for at least a month. I wish I knew that TinyMCE wasn't working with 4.7 before I wasted my time looking at the beta. I complained that Drupal.org should only list downloads that actually download some form of the project and not a few nonfunctioning files like TinyMCE's download of the it.po and LICENSE.txt.
This was the response I got...

What an ass! Just because your software is free doesn't give you the right to insult your users... especially if those users are also developers. Multiple users have been posting about this for a month. If the cvs version isn't ready to be zipped up for download, just remove the listing and stop wasting other people's time trying to figure out how to make this module work.

heine commentedA slight CVS accident and a duplicate of http://drupal.org/node/47888.

killes@www.drop.org commentedJust for the sake of completeness, here is the mail that reached me through the infrstructure ML:
I've been using Drupal for several projects and have started looking at the
4.7 release. I find it really frustrating that you list downloads for
projects that aren't functioning like TinyMCE. I wasted several hours
installing and configuring 4.7 because I need TinyMCE to function at least
at basic level. Listing modules that don't contain functional code does
disservice to users considering using the beta code by misrepresenting the
modules actually available. I now know the module list is a wishlist and
doesn't accurately represent the modules actually available. Wasting my
time is not going to motivate me to participate in troubleshooting 4.7. I
doubt the other people who posted about their 4.7/TinyMCE issues are going
to continue working with 4.7 either. You own it to the Drupal community
to post ACCURATE lists of the modules available if you want them to
participate in 4.7's development.
Please de-list TinyMCE as a 4.7 module until a usable download of the
project is available.
