TinyMCE is great but the one feature from Htmlarea I really miss is the 'expand' button which opened a new window containing only the textarea and toolbars. For writing comments into comment boxes you don't really need it, but for creating pages - especially when trying to insert images inline - it was very helpful indeed!

I would suggst including it in simple, default and advanced toolbars as it won't affect the html output.

I agree with this - what more can be said? I was thinking of switching to tinymce but I'm afraid it will be a non-starter for my users without this feature.

TinyMCE 1.45 has a fullscreen plugin that will be enabled by default for the next version for Drupal 4.7.

that's great news mathias!

does that mean I can config my current tinyMCE to use the plug-in?

do I need to download the plug-in from somewhere?

is it called - 'fullscreen'?

thanks!

The latest version of tinymce, 1.45 has the fullscreen plugin bundled. I believe 1.44 did too. I can't get it to work but it's in there. The example works over at the tinymce site:

thanks.

I've updated to 1.45 but I can't find any info on how to enable the plug-ins in drupal!
