Twitter tests failing trying to enable the twitter module?

I'm trying to fix problems with the tests for the Twitter module - late in the development cycle I removed its dependency on the Views module, and now all of its tests are failing. I tried adding test_dependencies[] lines to the module's info file, and then tagged 7.x-6.1-unstable1 to push the changes to testbot, but it's still failing: https://qa.drupal.org/pifr/test/1138583

What can I do to fix this? I'd like to cut a new bugfix release today for all three branches, if possible, so whatever I need to do to fix the problems I'm more than happy to do.
