There is a couple of fields I don't need in organizations and projects, so I commented them out in sites/all/modules/storm/stormorganization/
stormorganization.module
&
stormorganization.theme.inc
The same for project.
Each update writes over these files and I have to redo this every time.
I think i have to make changes in an extra file.
can anybody lead me to a tutorial or howto about this matter please???

juliangb commentedFirstly, it is bad practice with any module to run a customised version of it unless you know what you are doing, and preferably have your site in a version control system so that you can merge in changes. As you've seen, any changes you make will be lost when you update the module.
I assume that you've made the changes in the functions stormxxxxx_form. If so, simply create a site specific module and use hook_form_alter to make your customisations.
See api.drupal.org and the drupalorg module for examples.
Hopefully that will solve your problem.

qriz commentedThx for pointing that out.
I learned the hard way that this was a bad practice ;-)
I started my system before I knew about storm.
so field wise everything was done all ready with cck and thats fine that way.
Storm is a huge enhancement but needs a little lovin' with the theming (at least in my case)
My goal is to get rid (actually just hide) the following storm fields:
Fullname, Address, City, Province / State, Country, Zip, Phone, WWW, Email, Currency, & Language
In both: viewing and editing!
I'll try to figure out how to write the needed code and share my results later

qriz commentedOk different approach:
1. I copied the storm.css from the module folder in my theme folder in /sites/all/themes/mytheme
2. I added the line:
stylesheets[all][] = storm.cssto mytheme.info3. to the storm.css I added:
4.empty caches(admin/settings/performance) voila - the fields aren't showing
