I have outlined categories/taxonomies and tasks and dates for those tasks.
I have done this for multiple projects.
I have a summary page for all projects.

Is there a way for me to import my excel sheets and projects into Storm? I am just afraid that it will take me a LONG time to redo the work that was done.

Investigate the node import module - at http://drupal.org/project/node_import.

You may then need to make a script to enter some of the custom fields.
