Having a clock in/clock out button would be much easier then trying to put in the start/end times for every project/ticket/task etc...

The Storm Quick Timetracking module (linked from the Storm project page) gives this functionality for timetrackings - is this what you mean?

The time tracking module/dashboard need alot of work.....I was just thinking about having that built in. I do not really like those 2 mods very much. I feel that the storm interface is a little clunky though, although it has great functionality.

Well, unless we're talking about different functionality, it would be better if you were able to work with the maintainer of QTT to overcome these issues rather than duplicating them here. From what i've seen, the jurgenhaas is very prompt to respond to queries and sort things out.
