While trying to create a view that displays timetrackings in a calendar (using the date module) I run into the problem of not being able to use start and end time as arguments. I have however succeeded in displaying timetrackings in the calendar on the appropriate tracking dates. I'd be much obliged for any clues and tips.

A day later:
I've been thinking about possible solutions but not sure if this is the way to go:
If timebegin and timeend could be converted into timestamps, they could be added as arguments in views hence making it possible to create a calendar view.

I've used the calendar module and build a view with it.
It shows the timetracking of a person.
The mini-month-view also adds a percentage of time a person tracked.

All this is done in the "Storm Timetracking Extension" Module of Storm Contrib. Maybe it helps you for a start.

Hi, thank you so much! I was actually thinking of a view per week where the user can see the actual hours mapped on the days. I'll have a look though on how you did it in Storm Contrib. What did you think about my idea to convert timebegin and timeend to timestamps? Would that approach create conflicts or problems for the timetracking module?

Ohw and we are working on something here : http://drupal.org/sandbox/jonasbaertsch/1425676
Still working on that though...

The idea to change to using timestamps is very similar to this issue #1184090: Tracking time over 24 hours. The idea is instead of having a date, and time begin time end, we'd have a date/time start, date/time end. Much more flexible.

Sounds like this support request is fixed - lets continue the conversation in that issue and in Storm contrib if there are some specific features there that help.
