Just installed and love it. But... it breaks my theme in IE. It prevents my background and images from appearing. Works fine in FF, Chrome, Safari and Opera. I'm using a custom theme. Despite the fact that I hate IE and don't really wanna code for it, it's still the most used browser, so I gotta have it working. I was using the stable version, then updated to the dev hoping that would help... but it didn't.

Any idea what's going on?

Closing this. My apologizes: I should have known this, but somehow overlooked the limited css handling by IE. So the Simplemenu css was tipping IE over it's scale of what it can handle. I turned on css optimize and that was all. Thanks for an awesome mod!
