In my mind i have something like the solutions of "Memu Admin" or "Toolbar" (this last in particular) where you have a Welcome message + logut link on the right part of the menù!

Simple menù is the only module that give possibility to users to manage their accounts (using Navigation menu) without wasting of space (panels, block and so on)...

But it's (at the moment) very 'spartan': It's a menù!

My suggest is to give possbility to extend on the right part of the menu (for horizontal ones) a mini panel with:

Welcome message + Username + Avatar + Logout

Esample:

Hello, AlexisWilke (your avatar) | Logut

Adding a nanigation menù on the left you have a perfect panel for authenticated user!

I know is a little bit more than stardard concept of simple menu... but it's a great increasing of usability!

I guess that could be another module... maybe it could be called simpleavatar or something like that. Then it could stick itself right over the simplemenu going right to left. 8-)

I don't otherwise foresee that happening in simplemenu itself.

Plus it seems to me that the size of the avatar would generally be too large for the bar?!

And Log Out is included in the Simplemenu!
