nil.ned commentedDear friend,
I installed this module (search api entity) but I don't find multilingual fulltext search... can you help me?
dshields commentedI'm not sure what works yet, but I can tell you that part of the code is only in the 1.x branch.
dshields commentedIf it helps, the 2.x branch works best when you create a new index.

nil.ned commentedDear friend,
I've tried to solve this problem but just with the last test I anything solve.
I've two language iTA and ENG...
I follow this steps>
-download search_api
-sownload search_api.et (entity translation)
-switch on it
- create new server and use multilinguale default index to index bundle
- setup index like:
**EDIT PAGE
DATASOURCE OPTIONS
Bundles - none is selected for now
MULTILINGUAL SETTINGS
Languages to be included in the index - all entity language + Fallback language - none
**FIELDS
multilingual ID and a lot of field's taxonomy used for my serach, I tried to select also "Translation source node>>" field
**FILTERS
select this option:
-Bundle filter (and then selecting only one bundle /content type)
-node access
-exclude unpublish node
in processor tab:
-ignore case (in "Fields to run on" i selected all)
-html filter (in "Fields to run on" i selected all)
-tokenizer (in "Fields to run on" i selected all)
Then I come back in view TAB and click on "index now", the process run and the result is "100% 7661/7661 indexed" and "SERVER INDEX STATUS There are 15 items indexed on the server for this index. (More information)"
Then create page (or view) to find terms but in EN language I find something word like for example "Egypt" but if I jump in IT language anything is found like "EGITTO" (the ITA translation of Egypt).
I'm getting crazy about it... I follow this guide link to guide but I don't find multilingual full text search in any place...
Probably is this a problem?
Please help me if you have a suggestion, thanx a lot

dshields commentedNil.Ned,
You'll also want to install https://www.drupal.org/project/search_api_et_solr and create a new "multilingual node index"
Hope this helps

nil.ned commentedDear dshields,
do you think that the problem is about search_api?
I'll try it for some tests.
If someone can help the solution for my photogallery is use a view that combine search "contain string" in a fields series.
This solution is impossible to applicate for indexing all multilanguage nodes in website.
For the moment thank you so much..

nil.ned commentedDear dshields,
Need to install something in the server?
or enought install modules like:
search_apisolr7.x
apachesolr-7x.x
search_api_et_solr
Thank you so much
Nil.Ned

dshields commentedInstall search_api_et_solr and create a new multilingual solr index

thirsty_hamster commentedHi, Nil.Ned,
Did you manage to find the solution? I have the same problem with the only difference that I use plain DB backend.
thepanz commented@Nil.Ned: I guess the Egypt/Egitto are terms, am I correct?
How did you configure Taxonomies, their translations, and the taxonomy-reference fields?
The scenario I suggest is the following
- Country Taxonomy (terms titles and eventually their description should be translatable with Title module)
- Photo ContentType translatable (with a non-translatable reference to the Country-Taxonomy)
Now, if you create an index for the Photo ContentType, you should be able to add the referenced Country terms, they will be indexed with the related country names (translated).
If you're using a SOLR server, try to verify the stored data by querying the index
