The filter box given at "admin/config/search/redirect" is not working. If I enter any value inside this filter text-box and click on "Filter", I do not get filtered data. Instead, the filter box gets disappeared. Previously it was working properly and recently I encountered this problem. I tried to uninstall and re-install the latest version of Redirect module. The installation was successful but the issue still persists.

Any help would be appreciated!

I'm unable to duplicate this bug.

I was having this issue as well.

I go to /admin/config/search/redirect. There is a form labeled "Filter Redirects" at the top. The column headings of the table are "From", "To", "Status", "Type", "Language", "Count", "Last Accessed", "Operations".

I type "about" into the Filter Redirects text box and click "Filter". This takes me to /admin/config/search/redirect/list/about. The "Filter Redirects" box is missing. The column headings have changed to "Source URL", "Redirect URL", "Language", "Clicks", "Last Accessed", "Operations".

The list of redirects has changed, but the search term ("about") is only in a couple of the results. The pagination at the bottom indicates that all redirects are still being displayed.

In the upper-right, I click the gear and select "Edit View". This takes me to /admin/structure/views/view/redirects/edit/page_admin?destination=admin/config/search/redirect/list/about . If I enter "about" into the "Preview with contextual filters:" text box and click "Update Preview", the results list appears to be unfiltered. The select query shown does not have the word "about" anywhere in it.

If I disable the view, everything seems to work as desired.

@Dave Reid, if you're interested in seeing the issue I could jump on a screen share with you or send you a video or something. DM me on Twitter at @jlnd if you like.

I also was getting this exact issue. I inserted the code watchdog( 'forms_bug', implode('/', $keys) ); at line 35 of redirect.admin.inc and see that when using the filter ui the key is not passed to the form. If I manually add my search term to the end of the url, I see it come in with my log line.

The hook_menu has "admin/config/search/redirect/list/" defined as a tab menu item with no argument handling and the form submit handler takes the filter value and appends it to this tab address.

/**
 * Process filter form submission when the Filter button is pressed.
 */
function redirect_list_filter_form_submit($form, &$form_state) {
  $form_state['redirect'] = 'admin/config/search/redirect/list/' . trim($form_state['values']['filter']);
}

Removing that listpiece of the url from the redirect line solves this for me. I am on 7.x-1.0 with the no-loops patch, datestamp = "1347989995"

Same issue on 7.x-1.0-rc3, solution in #3 worked for us. Thanks @developerweeks!
