There is a conflict between realname and the 1.x version of admin module and possibly with core admin theme feature as well since it was also not working.

I don't have time right now debug further so I am creating this issue as place to put my findings an hopefully colloborate with others.

This may be a admin module issue. If it is we can reassign it to that queue.

For now all I have found is that whatever is causing it is coming from one of these 2 functions:

realname_user
realname_menu_alter

When both of those functions are commented out, both admin module and most of the features of realname. Somewhere in there is a conflict.
