Wolfflow commentedHave take a look at your URL with Safari 3 Beta. I do not know much about the QuickTab.module and I cannot go deeper in this but have you tryed to modify a bit the .css file of the Garland Theme?
It look that the main(class) or the sidebar/left or siderbar/right might be adjusted a bit to have (i suppose) your Blocks
diplayed the standard way.
You have a content(class) of 1047 pixel, is this wanted?
P.S. Sorry for my erroneus answering, but I checked over and it seems to work. All Tabs show their content. I just
see that you put the Login-Block in the footer? Do you want this?
I saw also you changed Theme many times, I think the Site looks great in Garland!!
Cheers

johnhorning commentedI was probably editing it at the same time you were looking. I found the cause, although I wish I knew how to do it right. I wanted some fancy tooltips that are described here: http://www.walterzorn.com/tooltip/tooltip_e.htm
I added a couple lines immediately after the body tag in page.tpl.php to call the java script. When I removed those lines, the problem I was having with the Quick Tabs went away.
It's too bad - I had the tooltips working good in both Firefox and IE. Now I need some advice on the proper way to set that up.
Thanks for your help.

Wolfflow commentedI'm not sure but I have put js calls sometime ago in a simpler way.
I made a Block containing the js code and gave it a full HTML imput format and put that into the Header. maybe
it can function for you as well.
Good Luck

johnhorning commentedExcellent suggestion - I tried it. But, once again, it works in Firefox, but not IE. IE won't even load the page. :(
I'm just trying to add the following code, in case anyone has other suggestions:

Wolfflow commentedAnother Idea:
preface: control if you have publish the BLOCK with an expanded "imput-type"
(HTML full or a custom one with more tags permissions for admin)
i.e. allow
<script>maybe you know better,
idea: use the @import js format and have the script outside!
What you mean?
Cheers
P.S.
I found an interesting issue:

techutopia commentedI have a small problem with IE 7 also.
I wasn't sure whether to post this here or to create a new thread, so please forgive me if it's in the wrong place.
The module is great, and it works fantastically in FF.
I have an issue where blocks created with quicktabs have a margin above and below their content inside the tabs.
The margin in not the same in all tabs - quicktabs with more vertical content have a larger margin above and below.
Hope this is clear?
Many thanks.
D.

techutopia commentedAs an addition to the above.
As the page loads the quick tabs are filled with the content of all the active tabs.
It is when the non-active tabs are 'hidden' and the full page load is done, that results in the margins above and below the content in the quicktabs.
Hope that helps.

D.

Wolfflow commentedHi to understand better where in the description of your problem appear the effect you may post a link or make a screen-shoot of the page and upload here with the upload-file button. Cheers

techutopia commentedThanks for your reply, here's a quick shot of the affected blocks - the results in IE7 and FF3.
Also, this does not occur where 'normal' blocks are used (those without QuickTabs), and I am using the pixture theme.
Thanks.

techutopia commentedHi,
With regards to the issue in IE I was having adding this to my themes css file fixed the problem.
The divs now autoresize vertically upon changing tabs
#block-theblockname-theblockid div.content {width: 190px; overflow: hidden;}Regards,
D.
