What is the su password (in the terminal). I've tried 'quickstart': Authentication failure. Can't find it in the docs or other issues.

This is Quickstart 0.9.1.

You are unable to use the root password - instead, a suitable workaround is:

sudo su

This will temporarily give you root access. Just remember to close out of it once you're done!

Thanks. How do I close out of it? I'm a pretty much a command line newbie, except for some Git.

Hi, the root password is not known, although it could be cracked and is the same for all copies of Quickstart. If you'd like to change the root password to something known:

sudo su
passwd

You can also use sudo -i to keep from having to re-enter the password.
