I am using 'print' with 'dompdf' and 'courses' with 'certificate' in order to generate PDF certificates. Everything works great and the PDF certificate is generated when visiting the page at /node/[nid]/certificate. However, I have specified that the PDF open in a new page, but it does not.

Any ideas?

Please use latest version of dompdf librarry from here.

The print module directs to use this version of dompdf https://github.com/dompdf/dompdf.

Is https://sourceforge.net/projects/dompdf the same thing? The sourse code does not compare.

Also I solved the problem with a template function as explained here https://www.drupal.org/node/2759289.
