After creating the node in my pay per not balance, it does not show that it was created and still says available. I see this answer under D6, but there is no 'normal' create content permission. So it appears that there is a bug?

Also, how do I change the title shown on the user menu to something other than 'pay per node' -- this will mean nothing to my customers ... I really don't want to install yet another module for just this one string.

Hi Julie,
i've tested ppn module (7.x-1.0) with Drupal version 7.22 and user balance is correctly updated after node creation. Note that if you want to use ppn to let user create one (or more) "Article", that user must not have the permission "Article: create new content". In this case ppn balance is not updated since user can already create unlimited nodes of that type.
You can change the user menu voice modifying 'Pay per node' string in paypernode.module file at line 75.
Seems like this is a duplicate of #1103346: Node Purchased Availability doesn't go down once node is created: with "normal" permission i meant standard Drupal permission to create a node a certain type.
