There are still some quirks with the Patternkit REST Library support, mostly in conjunction with legacy Patternkit REST extensions.

The problems mostly lie within the PatternkitRESTLib PHP class file.

This issue is tracking a patch that will resolve these issues without causing new problems with PatternLab (node) REST extensions.

There is in-progress work which has been committed to the module. This will need to be cleaned up before proceeding with additional work on this issue.

I've pushed up in progress work to separate existing functionality for this into a submodule, and I'll be separately removing it from the current release branch.
