I am seeing URLs created (generated by [menupath-raw].htm) that are being cut off, here is an example:

'explore/about-beracah/frequently-asked-questions/what-is-the-difference-between-a-modular-home-and-a-traditional-stick-built-hom'

When it should be

'explore/about-beracah/frequently-asked-questions/what-is-the-difference-between-a-modular-home-and-a-traditional-stick-built-home.htm'

Is there a setting I am missing somewhere?

I think the 6.x-1.1 version hard-coded the url alias limit to 128 characters. That has been fixed in the latest dev version.

I changed the maxlength of the title and component both to 500 but neither had an effect. I saw this in the code:

$maxlength = min(variable_get('pathauto_max_component_length', 100), 128);

Changing 128 in those occurrences to 500 corrected the issue for me.

Shouldn't this line of code simply be:

$maxlength = variable_get('pathauto_max_component_length', 128);

That seems like it would get the value you set, and if its not set, use 128. The min() negates whatever you set in the setting unless it fits within a predetermined range.

Ah, ok, I will try updating to the latest dev version. Thank you.

Keep in mind the database field that stores the url aliases is limited to 255 characters.
