My items in simple queue disappear after change the order of the nodes.
The simple queue size has no limit, and works fine by adding nodes from the list or node tab.
When the items are around or above 20, the queue deletes half items until less 10 items when the order is changed.
for instance, the queue was 84 items
84 items -- (change/save) --> 42 items -- (change/save) --> 21 items -- (change/save) --> 12 items --> 12 items ....
Does anyone has the same issue?

h3rj4n commentedOur problem was a little bit different. The items where dissapering after you change the order. The items you changed where removed. This was due an error in the chosen module we're also using.
The error happend when you changed the order. The chosen module changed the select form item (which is visible when you display the weight items) into a chosen select box. After saving the items with a chosen selectbox where removed.
After updating the chosen module the problem was solved.

cellar door commentedExperiencing this as well after 20 entries in nodequeue, am going to try and deep dive what's going on. It's a not a complex site with many modules running and only just started experiencing this. Have used nodequeue in the past with much success.
Updated to latest dev and still no change. Would HIGHLY recommend testing any update to the module in a dev space before losing live data (luckily we didn't lose any live data).
Will report back when I find what the underlying issue is.

cellar door commentedNaptje - I will try out the patch and see if it works. On this site we were not using the chosen module so that's not the root of the cause but could be a similar issue.

amourowNaptje, thanks for the patch. I tried this patch against the dev version, but not working.
It left 1 item and remove all the others as it's more then 18 items.
I don't have chosen module in my site either. I'm also curious why this happens only above certain number of items.

eescribanoc commentedFor me it happens as off more than 18 items. Before 18 items it works perfectly, but the moment that more items are added it tends to reorder them when saved and also remove one item(in the case of 19 items).
In my case I have these versions:
Chosen 7.x-2.0-beta4
Nodequeue 7.x-2.0-beta1

fizk commentedThis was fixed in #44017: Node Queue position duplication can cause accidental deletion of queue entries, except
$(this).find('option').removeAttr('selected');was not included. This fix seems to work without that line. If it doesn't for you, please reopen this issue.
