I'm using Media module to upload and keep track of images and links to youtube videos. The Views Media Browser module allows me to make views of media, unattached to nodes. I know this module is called nodeuqueue rather than entityqueue, but is there a way to make a queue of images/media unattached to nodes? I'd like to add a handful of images to a queue so that I can have a view of those images and thereby a views slideshow of those images. What if any is the workflow for this?

The start of an Entityqueue project is at http://drupal.org/sandbox/amateescu/1429904, but it's not really finished so use with caution (7.x-1.x-ctools is the main branch that will become official and maintained, not 7.x-1.x). In the meantime, you can try using http://drupal.org/project/entityreference only.
