Does not output URL as path alias

[reminder_url] does not output cannonical url (path alias), nor correct node url. It outputs as http://example.com/node. Tried replacing with [node-url] and http://example.com/[node-path], still it outputs url as 'example.com/node'. Doesn't even include the node id. On edit mode, node creator's email address is automatically filled in. If you leave time value blank, email still goes out to the creator with url as example.com/node.
